Stir Fried Tofu

Tofu contains a lot of water, so extract the water from tofu well and it's also better to make this dish just before eating. A little bit salt and pepper go well with this dish. You can put in any vegetables you like.

Ingredients

  1. 300 g tofu (roughly mashed)
  2. 10 cm Japanese leek (cut into small pieces)
  3. 1/3 mushroom (tear into pieces)
  4. 2 eggs (beaten)
  5. 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  6. 1 pinch crushed red pepper
  7. 1/2 to 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  8. 1 Tbsp white sesame seeds
  9. Salt and pepper
  10. Nori seaweed for topping (optional)

Method

  1. Put crushed red pepper and sesame oil in a pan and turn on the low heat. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Add mashed tofu, Japanese leek, mushroom, turn the heat to medium, and cook until the liquid is almost gone. Put in the soy sauce and stir well.
  3. Pour in the beaten egg and shake the pan while stirring for 10~15 seconds, turn off the heat, add sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with seaweed before serving.
